Here we go!
We are talking about HOPE in our Dance with Desire group for the next two weeks…
I think hope is related to desire, don’t you?
What do you hope for?
What do you desire?
Do those two words feel different to you?
I coach my clients and students so much about clarifying their desires… because they have changes, they have come to light, they have new “a-ha’ moments…Desires change as we grow older…
Some ideas of desire
- Comfort: The desire for a comfortable and pleasant environment
- Acceptance: The desire for acceptance and being liked by others
- Curiosity: The desire to learn and explore new things
- Efficiency: The desire to save time and effort
- Convenience: The desire for things to be easy and accessible
- Expression of beauty and style: the human inclination to express oneself through fashion and design
- Financial security: The desire to have a stable financial situation and be free from financial worries.
- Personal growth: The desire for self-improvement, personal development, and reaching their full potential.
- Health and well-being: The desire to maintain good physical and mental health and live a fulfilling life.
- Love and connection: The desire for meaningful relationships, love, and a sense of belonging.
- Recognition and achievement: The desire and want to be acknowledged and rewarded for their accomplishments and efforts.
- Adventure and excitement: The desire for novelty and thrilling experiences that break the monotony of daily life.
- Inner peace and tranquility: The want to find a sense of calm and harmony within themselves.
- Influence and power: The desire to have an impact on others and the ability to shape outcomes.
- Freedom and independence: The want to have the autonomy to make choices and live life on their terms.
- Purpose and meaning: We all seek a sense of purpose and direction in life, wanting our actions to have significance.
That’s a big long list of desires…
And possibilities and hopes…

As we step into a new era, a new time in our lives, careers, creativity, finding your NEW voice is a journey of self-discovery. It is about finding what you are passionate about and sharing that with the world. It is about being yourself and not being afraid to speak up. It is about showing up for yourself and your desires, participating full on! It is about being patient and not giving up on your dreams.
Finding your voice is a process, not an event. It takes time, effort, and practice. And often it takes asking for help.
That’s why I’m here, as your coach. To help you find your new voice, as we grow older, because our stories change. Our desires change. And we want to release the old stories, too. Time for a rewrite, a rewire, and a renew!
And step into your glory and all that you desire and deserve. To bring to light the new part of you, or the new all of you! So you too can shine your light!
It is worth it. Investing in yourself, taking time for your feelings, giving yourself more self-care time and more reflection. And adding structure and tools to make those dreams happen. When you find your voice, you find your power. You find your way to connect with others and make your mark on the world. And that is a hell yeah!
It’s a great time of year to set new intentions. Now is the time to stop the old roller coaster and step onto the smooth sailing ship of desire, yours! Because you are ready to go there, to give yourself this time for focus, clarity, and way more joy and abundance, it’s time for us to talk so you can get off that cycle of sameness.
