Do you have a journaling practice? Or wish you did?
I talk a lot about my morning Clarity Ritual and journaling is a big part of that almost daily happenings!
I love to write, most of you know that! Poetry, books, ramblings, musings, stream of consciousness, lists, notes of ideas, project clarity, whatever is happening in the moment for me. Why? I find that journaling brings me into myself and my connection to source, into being grounded and in alignment.
I love to play with words, and try new ways of writing. What I love the most is having a prompt to push me into a new thought or way of seeing something different, or making up characters, or writing about an experience. Most often the words flow out of me without even thinking too hard.
And that is because I have a designated time and place for journaling. It is sacred time, for myself. An act of self-care. We all need some sort of private time, or gathering time to do the one thing.
What else excites me is to listen to and read what others have written. Inspiring, this time of shared writing, of shared space. There is power in words, and there is power in a gathering of creatives, like in my classes.
Many of you have written with me before, in my in-person classes, dance certification courses, workshops, and also in my online classes. I always ask you to have your journal ready, and when you read what you have written, you blow me away, and you also blow yourself away… What comes through is magic. And that doesn’t mean it has to be a masterpiece, it doesn’t have to be anything but what you just wrote! Maybe a bit of lovely poetic text, maybe a rant about some event, maybe a salute to the day, or perhaps a to-do list!
And it feels so good to journal it down, to sit with others in same space and time, to do just that one thing of letting it flow from your body to the page!
And finally, I have the new gathering starting, virtually, next week!

Was me, I was cracked open with life
And change and the desire for that big sky of freedom
To have the weight lifted,
The constant state of upheaval and struggle
And fear of the future
And the black hole of debt
And how to continue to strive for the dream
But surviving was the name then
And thriving is the name now
With the release of the shoulders
The self-made burdens of not-enoughness
To live with the conditions of enough now
With blank slates and white wall
And eyes wide open
Heart-melting
Soul-stirring
The prospect of serving
Filling back up on different terms
The closets of joyful color
Craziness of anything can happen
Living with the opportunities
Being a possibilitarian
Because I know the way now
I listen in
I stop
And the create how I see it
And feel it and love it
I am enough.

I’m coming at you a lot lately, my friend!
This is such a great time of year to get into focus and set intentions for the rest of the year, for creating change, for stepping into more of what you want. And I love to give you ideas and inspirations to do that, through blog posts, through writing and poetry, and through my interviews and live podcasts!
You know I’m there for you, I’ve got your back, and I want you to shine your light!
I don’t want to burden your inbox but I am so excited about my new offerings that only come around once or twice a year and I want to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to join me and our growing tribe in any of them, but mostly I want to show you some support and help get you moving in your future endeavors! Investing in your desires!
When we get down to it, my friend, when we get ready to take a risk, take some bold new steps, what comes up? Fear? Confusion? Uncertainty? Lack of confidence? Lack of funds?
All those things that keep holding us back, getting in our way, telling us we are not worthy, or that we can’t make that dream come true, or it is scary to take the time and the money to invest in ourselves. Right?
Ladies, I’ve been there, more than once. For me so much about my business, and personal, growth, was lack of money. I might have had the time, and the intense desire, but not the money… to pay for the coach, or the workshops, or whatever it was that I thought would help me move forward.
But everytime I took that leap of faith, felt like I was extending myself too much, faced the fear, but also that intense desire to finally make those changes I had been wanting. Well what happened? I wanted those changes so bad, and I knew I could make those dreams happen. I grew, I gained the insights, the support, the tools, to take the steps that would take me to that place of abundance, of not giving myself away, of not wasting time, of not staying small. Because that is not who I was, or who I am today.
I think we all go through that at some point in our career, in our life, as we age, as we learn more of who we are. And what we truly want. It takes time, and wisdom, and guidance. And surrounding ourselves with the right people, our uplifters, our tribes, our magical circles. As we find our truth, and intensify our desires. And know that we can in fact, do the work, make the changes. Because when we learn to look at that work with different eyes, with different tools, with someone who has our back and can give us guidance and support, that work also becomes fun, and exciting, and fulfilling.
It truly is about the journey, not the end result! And why not make that journey the best that it can be, with our hearts and souls on fire, our bodies in alignment, feeling great. And doing our soul work, our purpose. And bringing in our abundance, our prosperity. I’ve seen too many women let themselves fall short, because of fear, failure, or lack of belief, or settling for something less than.
But that is not how you really want to live, is it? I want to see you step into your creative zone of genius and make those changes. I believe in you. You, commit to yourself and your dreams. They are worth it. You are worth it!
I wake up every day full of gratitude and say this is my best day yet. And it really is. Because I have taken the time to check-in, to do the things that resonate with me and my work and my lifestyle. And it is because I have found different tribes of people, some who work for me, some who work with me, some who teach me, some whom I teach. I am not alone. And I live every day lit up!
I don’t want to do it alone, even though I am a solopreneur, which I love. I crave community and connection! And bringing others together, that is my passion!
So if this is your time, I invite you to invest in yourself, however that looks to you.
Step into the fear and uncertainty so you can have your dreams, and take that road of freedom and creativity! Commit to making YOU happen so you can manifest your abundance. You ARE worthy my friend. And find your people, those people, who will be by your side, support you, cry with you, encourage you, ask you questions, inspire you!
